A day in the life of our Group Sales Managers IT demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. Listing all of the tasks that our Group Sales Managers accomplish would BE lengthy but the list below is essential to know.
- Our Group Sales Managers are responsible for developing strategic and measurable plans to prospect for potential group accounts in assigned market territories, in addition to maintaining existing relationships with an established client base. Some travel will BE required for sales calls as well as to represent our properties at various tradeshows.

- They work closely with Revenue Management, Catering, Finance and all Operational departments of both hotels, The Beverly Hills Hotel and Hotel Bel-Air, during their day. This will include conducting site tours of the hotels and coordinating on-site client entertainment to showcase all hotels services and amenities.

- They also participate in all relevant meetings including, forecast, daily business revenue, and weekly revenue and sales meetings all to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
- Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections that tend to come up. Our Group Sales Managers are relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct.

- Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. Our Group Sales Managers must communicate with our Conference Service Managers as well as other departments and extended hotel team in order to ensure the alignment remains. Attention to detail is a must.

- Prospecting is a requirement as well as the ability and the competency to seek and close new and repeat business.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit for long periods, to reach and manipulate objects, tools or controls. Manual dexterity and coordination are required to operate office equipment. Stand or sit for prolonged periods of time. They must occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach and twist. Lift, carry, push, and/or pull light (10 lbs.) to moderate amounts (up to 30 pounds) of weight; Operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard. The noise level in the work environment is typical of most office environments.
