Cherbourg Shire is located 170 km north west of Brisbane and is on Barambah Creek. It is located in Wakka Wakka tribal boundaries, near the border of Gubbi Gubbi territory.

We are looking to recruit a Teacher – Primary Health on a temporary part-time (0.5) basis, located at our Cherbourg (Nurunderi) campus , working 36.25 hours per fortnight. This vacancy is available for 12 months.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care addresses the health issues faced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. It includes foundation knowledge needed to undertake basic health assessments, identify community health issues, needs and strategies, provide information and strategies in chronic condition care, and assist with basic health screening, promotion and education. Our educators are highly-experienced and passionate and we are looking for someone who can share this with their students.

Contribute to developing and delivering quality learning, teaching and assessment to a wide range of clients through:

Highly Desirable:

The salary range for a full-time TAFE Teacher is $85,142 - $113,971 (gross) per annum , depending on educational qualifications held and teaching experience.
