SCOPE
We are hiring a Global Sourcing Category Manager IT, responsible for a direct spend of around €75+ million. He/she is leading the Harware, Software and IT services categories in direct link with the group's IT leaders.
As a part of the global Indirects Procurement team, you will work across Lactalis's different business divisions. This is a challenging, highly dynamic and visible role that will see you leading key strategic projects to optimize the quality, service, costs, innovation and cash performance of your categories.
As Global Sourcing Category Manager IT you will
- Lead strategic tender across all IT domains
- Build and execute the global sourcing strategies. Lead the transformation projects of the categories
- Gain and build expertise on your categories market analysis, spend analysis, internal needs, cost models and toolkits
- Lead a functional network of 15+ regional/local buyers
- Manage Lactalis coverage of supply with regional/local procurement teams
- Accountability for supplier selection & development : maintain and develop relationships with panel suppliers, negotiate agreements, manage their performance with a cross-functional process
- Accountability for the purchasing budget, manage risks and opportunities to the budget to support Lactalis rapid growth
WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR US ?
- 5 years' experience minimum in procurement, expertise in an international environment
- Excellent communicator with leadership potential - Strategic vision
- Natural connector - able to build a network to support business goals
- Able to set priorities, to take some distance, and be pragmatic
- Tenacity, with strong adaptation and relationship capabilities to gain credibility and create an efficient network within internal and external stakeholders
- Professional sourcing experience or / and education background that provides relevant knowledge within purchasing area
- Someone who is oriented to deliver value in these categories,
- Able to align strategy and stakeholders around identified and new business opportunities
- Positive, open to feedback and aware of own limitations
