Our esteemed client represents a Grande Prairie branch of an independent Alberta insurance brokerage, characterized by a fervent commitment to providing inventive and tailored insurance solutions to businesses within the community. Presently, they are actively seeking a seasoned Commercial Account Manager, proficient in both retention strategies and expanding a book of business.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

This Commercial Account Manager will have the privilege of joining the esteemed team, contributing to the safeguarding of local businesses' assets through ingenious and innovative approaches. You will manage running operations of a book of business, service existing clients of small to medium accounts and collaborate with administration, underwriters, management and other advisors in the office.

ABOUT THE POSITION

• Act as the primary customer service contact, handling inquiries in person, over the phone, or via email.
• Participate in account reviews, promote additional products and services, and provide value-added services to clients.
• Prepare submissions, applications, proposals, cover notes, customer correspondence, certificates, and invoices.
• Stay updated on product knowledge and build relationships with insurance partners.
• Market accounts including new, renewal, and midterm changes.

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Level 1 Alberta insurance license
• You have minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial Insurance servicing accounts
• You have a strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, policies, and regulations, and are always looking for creative and innovative solutions
