CDI (unlimited term contract), based in Vendôme, Lons le Saunier or Suresnes
MAIN MISSIONS
As Packaging Performance manager, your missions will BE renovating our packaging to increase Performance from a cost, regulatory, CSR & Consumer/customer perspective, from their conception to their industrialization, for the Group worldwide.
Regular activities :
- Working in a project mode and in a multidisciplinary working group in which the Performance manager is autonomous and project leader.
- Identify, guide, prioritize and transform your specific pack. material to ensure the most cost-efficient solution maintaining CSR & regulatory engagement & Consumer/Customer value.
- Identify development process improvement opportunity & tools to reduce TTM, increase efficiency and performance of our packaging.(eg AI & simulation)
- Organize and conduct field trials with the support of the Plant techno (in France, but also abroad).
- Define appropriate tests and control methods to test the technical solutions devised.
- Collaborate with suppliers and procurement to establish a continuous improvement approach for materials in terms of performance, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and cost.
- Stay current with market trends and technological advancements in the field of your specific packaging & Development tool : AI & simulation.
- Collaborate with Portfolio manager to ensure appropriate ressource & time allocation support for our projects.
- BE the guide & adviser for the team on your specific material.
PROFIL
Required diploma and/or level of professional experience :
- Packaging Engineer
- Minimum 5 years of experiences in packaging development.
- Food industry background
- Development project tracking record
Required skills business / technical knowhow to perform in the job :
- Technical packaging (material & equipment) knowledge carboard box, aluminum, plastics
- Eco-Conception Training
- Ability to drive transformation, reduction of TTM, breakthrough innovation and collaboration in links with new business model and partners. Connected to external ecosystem and partnership environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to manage many multi-zone, multi-activity, internal/external exchanges.
- Flexibility and adaptability to different cultures, work styles, etc.
- Analytical and synthetic spirit
- Management.
Required specific skills (foreign languages, software)
- French and English currents.
- Good knowledge of statistics
- Creativity and ideation
- Mechanical/engineering knowledge is a plus.
