Job description
In summer 2022 we welcomed the first H175 for base maintenance in Ostend. Meanwhile, several other H175s have already gone through their maintenance program at our base and the planning for 2024 is also already full. To fulfil all necessary maintenance requirements for this type of helicopter, we are looking to expand our existing team with new colleagues.
The helicopter B1.3 (and/or B2) Engineer is responsible for the base maintenance of the helicopters.
He/she works in a team of engineers at our base in Ostend and reports to the Chief Engineer.

Key activities will include:
Candidates must meet the minimum requirements for the role and we ask that all of the requested information and documentation is provided in order to start the selection procedure.
Technical requirements:
NHV looks for motivated people with good language skills (English), a sense of responsibility and initiative. Team players with a customer oriented attitude.
Type Rating courses may be provided if required.

Skills
ICT literate (specific aviation software & MS Office)
Languages: professional level of English is minimum
Good communication skills for debriefings, feedback and work handover moments
Able to work independently when performing in a less controlled environment and to take initiative to improve work and complete tasks within appropriate time scales
Logic thinking, a flexible mindset and the ability to work in a team
