We are currently looking for a person for the position of Logistics / Traffic Assistant in Willebroek to join Tenneco/DRiV organization. Responsibilities You will be responsible for the organization of various logistics tasks and export formalities. Think of scheduling transport, drawing up the necessary customs and shipping documents and the daily contact with logistics suppliers, transport planners, drivers, warehouse employees and our international customer service department. You take care of a clear follow-up and make sure that all orders and deliveries are shipped on time from our distribution center in Willebroek. Using a proactive approach, you anticipate potential problems and escalate to supervisor(s) in a timely manner to ensure service delivery In case of any questions or problems with a delivery, you are the point of contact for colleagues and for our customer service department. Job requirements & skills Knowledge of logistics and customs is an asset for this position Organizational mindset Problem solving thinking Communication skills Languages: Dutch (fluent) and English (advanced) – French and German (or other languages) are an asset Positive personality Assertive Socially minded Independent Willing to learn Experience working with the following applications is a plus but not a must: SAP, Streamliner (Export and Customs), Manhattan, AEB (Carrier Connect) Experience in the logistics sector is an asset Microsoft Office: Excel/Outlook Education Bachelor of Business Logistics Management is an asset Logistical knowledge through experien What can we offer you?
