The CNC machinist is responsible for the quality of their production in a context where compliance with safety rules is paramount.
Responsibilities:
• Read blueprints, interpret dimensional and geometric tolerances, pick up parts and self-check are essential skills for this position.
• Use of equipment and application of machine shop procedures.
• Propose and monitor key "indicators" and propose improvement actions (on products and manufacturing processes).
• Collaborate with other IPO platform product managers/support functions (Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing) to share best practices within the platform.
• Application of the Quality Assurance system for part machining.
• Analyze and control the quality of parts produced.
• Use of precision equipment - use of measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial gauges, depth gauges, etc., and their correct interpretation.
• Turning on a 3-axis machine and adjusting parts made of different materials (cast iron, steel, stainless steel, duplex, bronze) on numerical controls in a one-off or small series environment.
• Carry out machining operations according to drawings.
• Respect the Company's contractual commitments (deadlines, values, etc.).
• Comply with established quality, safety, environmental and ethical procedures.
• Apply safety rules.
Requirements:
• Turning on 3-axis machines and setting of parts in various materials (cast irons, steels, stainless steel, duplex, bronzes) on numerical controls in a one-off or small series environment.
• Knowledge of the Mazatrol language, plan reading, part picking and self-control are essential.
• A minimum of 3 years experience.
• Use of equipment and application of machine shop procedures.
• Knowledge of mechanical and metallurgical techniques applicable to pumps and units: hydraulics, mechanics, electromechanics, blueprint reading and programming.
• Good oral, written, interpersonal and team communication skills.
• Proficiency in office automation tools.
• Ability to summarize and analyze.
• Ability to anticipate.
• Autonomy in programming, choice of cutting and control tools is expected.
• Ability to interface with different levels of Flowserve organization.
