Job description
Proposes and leads the Purchasing strategy for one or more product/service families on a cross-functional basis in order to create value for the Group
Establishes the mapping of his/her portfolio of purchasing families
Develops market expertise on his/her families , identifies the best Purchasing solutions (models, sourcing and supplier qualifications) and opportunities to create value for the Group
Collects internal requirements , assists prescribers in defining the need, assesses the risks/opportunities within his/her scope
Proposes family Purchasing strategies in collaboration with prescribers/internal users/territorial buyers, builds roadmaps and action plans
Implements the Purchasing strategy , optimizes and controls the Purchasing processes (call for tenders, negotiation and drafting of contracts), manages negotiations and relations with suppliers (progress plans), collaborates with territorial buyers to optimize its roll-out
Guarantees performance and Purchasing efficiency of his/her families, ensures the Purchasing reporting of his/her portfolio
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 2-3 years of experience
