As an integral part of this team, the Strategic Supply and Optimization Analyst II is a key contributor in ENGIE NA's Renewables Business Unit Engineering and Delivery team.

Reporting to Senior Advisor Strategic Sourcing - Solar, this position sits in Denver, CO and is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.

What you'll do :
- Work as a key contributor in ENGIE NA Renewables Engineering and Delivery team with broader Renewables Business Unit to support the optimization of renewable energy facilities, such as Solar PV, along the dimensions of costs, energy production, project and technology risk.
- Engage with suppliers to obtain commercial and technical information needed for long term cost forecasts, and innovative renewable energy facility designs.
- Lead Project management of early stage financial analysis to aid in optimization of Solar PV projects and identification of potential key equipment / technologies to achieve optimal financial returns for renewable project portfolio.
- Communication within Preconstruction, Development, Engineering & Project Management on project scenarios, alternative project designs, evaluating tradeoffs between costs, energy production, project bankability, delivery risk.
- Conduct Lessons learned reviews around costs, technology, delivery risk on regular basis in order to drive innovation and continuous improvement in project design.
- Carry out other duties as assigned

What you bring :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Engineering preferred
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in Financial Analysis and/or Project Cost Estimation required
- Understanding of financial principles.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and technical product specifications
- Preference given to candidates with experience in commercial negotiations and contracting
- Strong knowledge of Strategic Sourcing and Category Management in the renewables sector preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to BE self-starter and team player, must have ability to collaborate with others to optimize business processes.
- Strong relationship management skills and the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with senior management
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint & Project
- Preferred : Experience with Procurement tools such as SAP, Ariba or Coupa
- Potential for development - passion for renewable energy procurement
- Excellent organizational and planning skills

- Salary Range : $79, 530 - $132, 550 USD, annually
- Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors
- In addition to salary, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan
