As a Merchandise Planner you will be empowered to create, communicate, and execute strategic merchandise plans to drive financial results. Collaboration with the Planning, Buying and Allocation as well as other cross functional business partners will position you to maximize sales, create inventory plans which deliver turn targets and profitability. You will support the financial goals for Vans North America, including the markets of US and Canada.

Years of Related Professional Experience: 5-8 years
Educational Position Requirements:
A formal education and subsequent undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
What we expect you already know:
Proven Merchandise Planning experience in an Omni, Multiple Retail Concept environment. Previous exposure to international planning would be a benefit. Strong analytical and communication skills including the ability to read, analyze and interpret retail reports. A proactive business management approach, completing all assignments and job duties in a timely manner. Advanced computer skills including Excel and Word. Merchandise planning system experience preferred (e.g., Blue Yonder, SAP, etc.)
