Job description

YOUR FUTURE MISSIONS
The person in this position will play a critical role in collecting, analyzing, and reporting on some of the most important key fleet performance indicators. This information will be used to drive daily activities, as well as a mid-to-long-term strategy to ensure that the fleet operates at optimal levels and meet Nordex and clients" performance targets. The reliability engineer analyzes data, identifies problems, and develops strategies to prevent potential issues before they occur. The reliability engineer is also responsible for assuring the quality of the reports and monitoring how these are used by internal stakeholders to adapt and improve over time.
The candidate must show a strong interest in data collection, processing, analysis, forecasting, and creative reporting.
> Analyze the performance of wind farms (availability, stops, recurring issues, etc.)
> Analyze the performance of service points (SAP booking speed and booking quality, etc.)

> Analyze top alarms that impact our Service Fleet

> Determine and monitor KPI

> Critical analysis of data

> Report findings to different departments such as technical support, management and local Service teams

> Direct contact point to Global Reliability Engineering Department

> Conduct power curve analysis and provide troubleshooting support

> Support rollout and tracking of retrofit implementation

> Analyze availability reports to identify improvement measures
> Collect and analyze data from various data sources (SAP, ServiceNow, SCADA, ART, PowerBI, etc.)
> Use data visualization tools to make complex data accessible and actionable (e.g. PowerBI)

> Review process descriptions and work instructions

> 3 years of professional experience in the renewable sector will be beneficial.
> Proven experience in data analysis and reporting, preferably in the wind power or renewable energy sector.

> Proficiency in at least one data analysis tools such as Python, R, VBA, SQL, DAX

> Good level of spoken and written English

> Familiarity with Lean and Kaizen methodologies would be a plus

> Experience in project management and continuous improvement
