About the Role:
Seeking a highly motivated and talented peptide chemistry leader to join our new discovery peptide research group. The successful candidate will work on the design synthesis and characterization of novel peptides and peptide conjugates to discover nextgeneration peptidebased therapeutics. Your expert synthetic knowledge and proven design and synthetic accomplishments will enable you to have significant impact on Companys projects. Your Contributions (include but are not limited to):
Requirements:
PhD in organic chemistry or related field with at least 5 subsequent years of experience in an industrial setting
Proficient in all aspects of modern peptide synthesis protein bioconjugation peptide and protein purification and analysis
Experience in optimizing and delivering peptideprotein conjugates as candidates for clinical trial
Strong publication record of accomplishment
Strong understanding of peptide and protein structure and associated biophysical techniques to assess structure stability and behavior in solution
Experience in bioconjugation timeextension and formulation strategies for peptides and proteins
Motivated to maintain a strong laboratory presence along with design and planning activities
Excellent interpersonal skills with strong oral and written communication abilities
Demonstration of crossfunctional understanding related to drug development
Assimilates data and research findings outside of our co. for application to new scientific projects
Advanced knowledge and demonstrated ability working with / recommending a variety of laboratory equipment/tools
Prioritizes teamwork above all else
Exhibits leadership skill and ability typically leads lower levels and/or indirect teams
Excellent computer communications problemsolving and analytical thinking skills
Sees broader picture impact on multiple programs teams and/or departments
Ability to meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects/programs with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
