Job Description
We put forward a new managerial role, with a varied range of project and in-house consulting work. You will report to Industrial Director, cooperate closely with top management of Operations, take part in full cross-function project cycles and grow together with the firm.
To keep up with strong growth of our Group (InPost & MR +54% revenue YoY) the project mix will be dynamically changing and ambitious, but also interesting and rewarding.
Your main tasks
- You drive the development and implementation of project portfolios in a cross-functional setting
- You ensure effective management of interdependencies between projects. You assess risks, alert and monitor remedial actions
- You structure and ensure communication with all stakeholders
- You are able to clearly articulate value of managed initiatives
- You support project managers and sponsors, helping them to obtain the expected results, in particular through proactive problem solving, analysis, strategic management of allocated resources
- You report regularly using dashboards, prepare and lead project committee meetings, develop governance and contribute to the development of follow-up presentations
- You promote the continuous improvement of project management practices within the supervised area
- You work in close collaboration with the PMOs of the other departments of Mondial Relay and the InPost Group
Higher education ; relevant quantitative field (business, finance, economics, mathematics) is a plus
Solid level of computer literacy, including but not limited to
- • PowerPoint : produces well-structured slides at reasonable pace & with clean formatting
- • Excel : you can occasionally build and operate on models, which support assessment of initiatives
2-3 years of experience in fast-paced projects, preferably in a consulting firm (MBB/Big4 & similar). Someone who:
- Has successfully delivered projects/streams which varied in functions and industries
- Has been tested in collaboration with different positions - from executives to a factory floor
2 Languages : French & English. Both at fluent level
Desired trait profile of a Candidate
- Ability to get things done : working in a mode of purposeful action, avoiding just busy motion
- Ability to hold quantitative discussion (based on number comparisons or probabilities)
- Knowledge of project management methodology : solid basics, willingness to expand
- Adaptable communication style (you will talk to execs, engineers, couriers, marketers from different cultures)
- Ability to work on short instructions (limited problem description), without step-by-step protocols
- Readiness to constantly learn & approach unknown areas
- Ability to handle situations with many moving part s, comfort in the gray
