Job description

I'm delighted to be partnered with a Europe-wide renowned aviation company, who are seeking a Site Director for Supply Chain in Brittany. The chosen candidate will be responsible for leading 80-90 employees and managing 4-5 direct reports as they oversee end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations, creating concepts and improving processes while leading operationally. The company will capitalise in leading with MRO in Europe for the future, with rapid acceleration in operations & growth expected to continue.

Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of end-to-end supply chain & logistics scope for the site in Brittany
* Provide exceptional operational leadership while maintaining high morale among team members.
* Liaise with General Manager to develop strategy plans for supply chain in accordance with strategy plan for the site
* Establish strong relationships with internal teams as well as external stakeholders including customers/clients/vendors/partners
* Manage the production of commercial offers for logistics solutions to meet the requests of the Customer Service Department or the Complex Business Department
* Manage the activities of logistics platforms including operations relating to shipments and transport for repair flows and for customer deliveries, including customs operations

Qualifications:
- Strong communication & interpersonal leadership skills/experience - operational leadership with hands-on approach, sustaining a positive professional environment
- Several years in supply chain leadership within an aviation environment or similar (automotive, machinery, energy etc)
- Experience functionally in end-to-end supply chain and operational logistics
- Fluency in French & Good English
- Ability to work mostly on-site in Brittany
