Position: Solaris administration

Location: Austin/TX ( Onsite from day 1 )

Experience Level: 10 years

Years of experience needed

10 years of experience as Solaris administrator with knowledge on Kubernetes and AWS

Technical Skills:

• Work with multitiered clustered environments
• Should be able to manage the Solaris collections.
• Develops monitors and maintains utilities and procedures to perform periodic maintenance backups shutdowns recoveries and diagnostics.
• Evaluate recommend and install software and hardware to facilitate and monitor network throughput and control load balancing.
• Provide technical and infrastructure support services for Solaris OSbased servers and systems including but not limited to Systems Administration of UNIX (Solaris)
• Experience with Kubernetes
• Scripting in Python
• Monitor external interface logs and interfaces.
• Monitor and administer HBSS on Solaris servers.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the principles methods and techniques used in systems administration and support.
• Required to escalate issues to vendors and provide root cause analysis and incident reports.
• Track and drive patch management for all middleware software

Certifications Needed:

Good to have Solaris admin certificate
