Join our global IT team as a Systems and IT Support Specialist for the EMEA region. The Systems & IT Support Specialist is a multi-skilled IT expert responsible for ensuring a seamless technology experience for users across the organization. Combining proactive systems management and reactive user support, he or she handles a wide range of IT functions. From managing terminal inventories and systems infrastructure, to guaranteeing first-rate user support via help desks, the specialist plays a key role in ensuring compliance with global IT standards. His role also extends to managing software applications, basic network configurations, and leading the organization's project and process management strategies. Through these diverse functions, the IT Systems and Support Specialist not only ensures the uninterrupted flow of digital operations, but also shapes the strategic trajectory of the organization's technology ecosystem.
For the Service Desk and Systems Management part (50%)
- As the main owner of Intune/SCCM, you manage and are responsible for the smooth running of the system, operating system patches, MDM, application publishing and deployment management
- You are responsible for the smooth operation of Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Office 365 and SharePoint, including the management of accounts, Exchange mailboxes, teams, OneDrive and SharePoint sites
- You design and implement automation scripts with PowerShell to streamline IT service management
- You are in charge of the global hardware, software and license inventory system, ensuring compliance and asset lifecycle
- You administer the ServiceDesk system, creating and maintaining the service catalog, optimizing ticket lifecycle efficiency, and ensuring SLA compliance
For End Point and User Support (30%)
- You handle incidents and support requests in a timely manner
- For level 2 problems (worldwide), you collaborate with other support levels to resolve complex issues
- You build and deploy machines for professional use
- You coordinate telecommunications services for the EMEA region, including fixed lines, mobile services and Internet connectivity
- You manage the badge access system, controlling access authorizations, tracking badge use and deactivating badges where necessary
- You carry out certain first-level network administration tasks in collaboration with the network engineers
Project and process management (20%)
- You design, review, document and implement policies and procedures to maintain global standardization of day-to-day IT functions
- You manage and facilitate assigned projects, ensuring effective planning, transparent coordination with stakeholders, and adherence to delivery deadlines
Profile required
With an IT background (Bac +2 to Bac +5) and solid experience in user support, you are looking for a new challenge in an international company on a human scale.
You must have at least 5 years' experience in
- Active Directory/Azure Active Directory administration
- SCCM/Intune administration
- Service Desk support for IT systems and services
As well as
- Direct experience in implementing and testing security controls
- Technical expertise in office, printing and networking technologies
Recognized for your interpersonal skills and internal customer focus, you are committed to building and developing a quality service and support for MP Biomedicals' internal users. Written and spoken English is essential for this position, which is an integral part of an international team. French would be a plus (Illkirch - Strasbourg site - frequent travel there is to be expected: 1 trip of 5 days per month). This position could also be based in Eschwege (Germany), in which case French would be a plus, and travel (same duration & and frequency) would be expected on the Illkirch site.
