Do you enjoy influencing and executing on new challenges? As a Labor Relations Manager, you'll serve as part of the Human Resources Team at the Plant and will work along-side the Site HR Manager driving labor initiatives within the site. You'll partner with the plant staff including Supervisors, Managers, Union Representatives and Hourly employees as appropriate. While you are at IT, you'll BE building your network and expertise while transforming the site culture. Ready to hear more?

A Taste of What You'll BE Doing
- Set the Pace - You'll drive the overall management of Labor Relations activities for the plant, including coaching Front-Line Supervisor and Middle manager on key collective agreement issues, responding to grievance and other LR concerns.
- Collaboration is Key - You'll serve as liaison between Site HR Manager, Kellanova North America Manufacturing Business Unit HRBP and Global Business Services (GBS) as appropriate
- Fresh Thinking - you'll ensure timely communication with employees and management regarding employee issues, including collective agreement interpretations, discipline, and attendance management. You'll lead new labor initiatives and policies, including relevant regulatory updates. Being the labor go-to is your thing.
- Tools for Success - Driving manager and employee adoption of high performance work team concepts, HR technology, service delivery model and programs. Redirects HR inquiries to the most efficient and effective resource (technology, service center, etc.)
- Agility - by directing, assisting, communicating, and monitoring all phases of employee labor issues and practices, IT just sounds like there isn't something you can't handle. Don't worry though - you will have plenty of support !

Your Recipe for Success
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience in Labor/Union Relations, Human Resources including discipline and investigations, negotiations preparations, Collective Bargaining Agreement implementation and administration,
- Strong positive employee relations skills, problem solving skills, including conflict resolution skills
- Excellent negotiation, communication, interpersonal skills, organization and analytical capabilities
- Strong facilitation, presentation skills and computer skills
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
- Flexibility in work hours as the role will occasionally involve shift and weekend work and travel to team meetings
