As junior sugar market analyst you will oversee the world sugar demand analysis that involves monitoring custom data and the line-up at main exporting countries, tracking vessels to destination and using this information for mapping the world trade flows. You will also oversee the pricing analysis for the main sugar flows (CNF price matrix). You will report to the World Sugar Senior Analyst and work close to the trading teams of Tereos sharing insights and building the intelligence required for a quality decision analysis.

Vos activités au quotidien
- Guarantee a proper update of line-ups at main exporting countries tracking all vessels to destination.
- Monitor the price parity for every relevant sugar international flow (CNF price matrix - origin vs destination) in alignment with trading team.
- Analyse and forecast the trade flow in alignment to the CNF price matrix and to the world sugar supply & demand per country.
- Challenge and review the world sugar demand per country in alignment with trade flow insights.
- Communicate our trading and research teams the relevant trade flows facts affecting the world sugar demand.
- Collaborate and support the research team on correlated markets, processes, models, etc.
- Provide ideas for new data, technology and innovation to strengthen analysis within the Market Intelligence Research team. - University degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics or Agronomy.
- Experience in commodity research and/or trading : 1 years minimum.
- Fluent English compulsory.
- Top Excel and Power Tools of Microsoft (Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate, etc.). Python is a plus.

- Understanding of economics and experience in commodity supply and demand fundamentals.
- Ability to deal with big volume of data and complex analysis for extracting relevant insights.
- Problem solving skills, strong autonomy and creativity to address daily analytics issues.
- Active cooperation within the Market Intelligence Research Team and external stakeholders.
