Job description

ARDATEM is a subsidiary of the Group GĂ©rard Perrier Industrie, a French group born in 1967. With its expertise in the fields of electricity, automation, instrumentation, engineering, design and technical assistance, ARDATEM is the specialist in the energy and nuclear sectors.The company works on nuclear units during the design, operation and decommissioning phases, on industrial combustion cycle sites and thermal plants as well as with research centres. ARDATEM is one of the few French companies to have national EDF approval for nuclear maintenance.
As Business Unit Manager, you will BE in charge of structuring and managing ARDATEM's new British subsidiary, based in Bristol (UK). Under the responsibility and with the support of ARDATEM's senior management and GPI's Director of International Nuclear Projects, you will BE mainly in charge of :
- STRUCTURING THE ARDATEM UK BUSINESS UNIT

Project management aimed at finalizing the creation of the entity, in coordination with internal support teams, as well as our local administrative partner.
- BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- British nuclear industry market analysis, benchmarking, and action plans' deployment to achieve our objectives and make ARDATEM's market entry a success.- Overall sales process management, from prospection to closure, and well as reinforcement of existing customer accounts and contracts.
- Identifying and responding to tenders, in collaboration with ARDATEM's Engineering team in France.- Overall improvement of ARDATEM UK's visibility through exhibitions, workshops, networking events, etc.
- Activity reports to the management team in France
- HUMAN RESOURCES
- Large part of the mission dedicated to sourcing, selecting and recruiting nuclear engineers and technicians, to position on existing and future contracts- Autonomous in negotiating salary packages with candidates, calculating costs with respect to selling prices, etc.
- Ensuring the smooth running of operations during our engineers and technicians' assignments.
- ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT
- Drafting employment contracts for ARDATEM UK's new recruits - Coordinating with internal support functions in France and local partners for all required administrative tasks : banking, insurance, accounting, legal, office management, etc. 5 years or more of higher technical education (Master of Engineering or BTech degree), ideally in Electrical Engineering, followed by an MBA or equivalent training/experience in Management, Marketing and Sales.5 to 10 years of experience as a key accounts manager or techno-commercial engineer in a technical industry. Knowledge of nuclear technologies and environment would BE greatly appreciated. Previous experiences in the UK and/or in a British working environment would BE an added bonus.
- English : native or fluent required, with excellent oral and written communication skill
- French : would BE greatly appreciated, with a focus on oral communication skills

Salary to BE negotiated according to skills and experience.Full-time job based in Bristol (UK)
