Reporting to the Energy Sales Director, you will prepare and quote technical and commercial offers for the Energy activity of ABB's "Process Automation" business in France, for "Digital Control System" projects and associated services ("Digital" and "Cybersecurity" solutions).
Your responsibilities
- Analysing customer specifications and validating their expectations and requirements in coordination with the sales engineer and technical support,
- Define the best technical and economic solution with a view to optimising costs, risks, opportunities and compliance with customer specifications,
- Carry out external consultations with the support of purchasing (specifications for electrical and mechanical installations, etc.),
- Consolidate costs: hours, external services, supplies,
- Drawing up the offer in its entirety within the timeframe requested by the customer, in coordination with the relevant stakeholders (Sales team, Technical Support, Project and Implementation teams, Product teams or Group centres of excellence, Purchasing team, Suppliers and Sales Administration team),
- You will provide the necessary pre-sales support to the sales team in collaboration with technical support,
- Participate in meetings to launch costed projects,
- Analyse the success rate of calls for tender and identify areas for improvement in order to increase the conversion rate.
Your background
- You have a 2/3-year degree in automation and industrial IT,
- Ideally, 3 years' initial experience in industrial fields (chemicals/energy),
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and industrial IT is a plus,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, OneNote, SharePoint, Teams) and CRM (Salesforce),
- Your attention to detail and ability to analyze customer needs will enable you to provide real support to sales teams, and your ability to work with a wide range of internal and external partners will be essential to the success of this assignment,
- English: intermediate level, regular exchanges with the teams, French: fluent obligatory
- Frequent travel possible in France and abroad,
- Strong awareness of Health, Safety and Security rules: HSE is everyone's business
