Project Manager - Large Scale Construction - Gigafactory
Petroplan is delighted to work alongside a world leader in multi-technical services to find a Project Planner a contract role for Gigafactory projects across Europe.
The role will be based in Lyon but mainly working on sites across Europe, we would need someone who is flexible to travel to different locations.
This is an exceptional career opportunity within an extensive end-to-end engineering and construction program, aimed at establishing a cutting-edge Gigafactory for electric vehicle (EV) battery production in Europe.
You will be part of this groundbreaking projects focusing on the comprehensive planning and execution of this large-scale construction and infrastructure project.
Contract Duration: 24 months can be extended to 3 years.
Remuneration: High daily rate
Responsibilities: - MEP: Involves managing technically complex aspects and multiple service streams for MEP.
- Process Fit out clean & Dry: This critical role ensures that the production environment for batteries remains dry and clean. You will also collaborate with consultants and bring expertise in dry room and clean room setups.
- Architecture & People: Concentrates on the human aspects of the project, including facilities for employees such as lockers, movement pathways, and operator accommodations.
- Site Masterplan: Involves the phased construction of the facility, road layout, logistics, and future expansion plans.
- Commission and qualification: Focused on health and safety standards and ensuring compliance in the commissioning.
- R&D: Focuses on implementing best practices from other projects for the construction of a facility of this scale.
- Senior Manager HSE: Ultimate HSE ownership / health safety, fire safety for storing chemicals, permits for environment agencies.
Requirements: - Proven experience in end-to-end project management, with a track record of working directly for the client.
- Strong project execution and a reputation for delivering on commitments.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, evolving environment where processes and structures are being established.
- Background in managing large-scale construction projects in various sectors, including Pharma, R&D, Hospitals, Large-scale Manufacturing, Aerospace, Semi-Conductors, Specialized Environments, or other large factory builds.
