Sales Manager UPS m/f/d

In this position, you will sell LV and UPS distribution solutions from a business area in a predefined geographical zone in the field of Industrial and Infrastructure Electrification.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will maintain and develop relationships with customers and prospects, and participate in the development of partnerships.
Your responsibilities
- Sell systems/solutions to customers, focusing on volume, product mix and profitability targets for business units/product groups.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and partners to understand their needs, promote the complete offering and deliver an appropriate solution.
- Work in project mode, coordinating sales and marketing teams, while relying on an in-house team to prepare bids and costings.
- Ensure that the technical and financial aspects of bids are appropriate, including pricing and commercial terms.
- Negotiate commercial and legal contracts with customers and partners, with the support of internal departments.
- Formalize sales follow-up and project progress using a CRM.
- Work with the extended sales team (Services/Products, local ABBs where appropriate) to identify and develop new opportunities.
- Support collections and project management activities where necessary.
Your background
- Minimum 2 years' higher education or equivalent, ideally supplemented by commercial experience.
- Technical skills in electrical engineering and power electronics.
- Ability to work with IT and digital customer follow-up tools.
- Ability to handle complex sales in a project environment.
- Ability to conduct sales talks and negotiations, and create and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
- Fluent English and French (reading, writing, speaking) required.
- No obstacles to travel (with overnight stays), 4-5 per month.
- Strong awareness of Health, Safety and Security rules: HSE is everyone's business.
