Responsibilities:
- Sourcing engaging and hiring diverse talent for various roles within the environmental industry
- Proactively identify and attract qualified candidates through various channels including job boards social media industry events and networking
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential candidates ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Work closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand staffing needs establish job requirements and create effective recruitment strategies
- Stay informed about industry trends market conditions and emerging roles within the environmental sector
- Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates skills experience and culture fit
- Faciliate a smooth onboarding process for new hires ensuring they are wellintegrated into the company culture and understand the mission
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Recruiter preferably in the environmental or sustainability sector
- Knowledge of environmental regulations policies and industry trends
- Strong networking and relationship building skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software
