Reporting Line: Transitions Global Brand Communication Director
The Global Senior Brand Communication Manager will be responsible for designing Brand Expressions across all communication channels – with a focus on B2C – as well as ensuring consistent execution and brand appearance worldwide across all touch points.
- Annual brand communication plan: designs and delivers the annual brand communication plan aligned with the Strategy developed by the Global Brand Communication Director
- Brand content: leads all creative comm developments across all comm channels with a focus on B2C, in collaboration with the internal Creative HUB in Milan (briefing, development, production, post-production, delivery of masters, localization)
- Brand expressions: creates brand book and communication guidelines, ensures consistent execution worldwide across all touch points via a centralized localization process (see below)
- Media: develops brand support model and subsequent media strategy, delivers annual media plans (briefing, budget, plans), ensures quality of execution locally, ensures timely approvals for spend (LOA process, PO approvals), closely monitors budgets, optimizes ROI
- Digital: as part of the brand support model and commercial priorities, defines the optimal digital eco-system and channel mix for the brand (website, social media, search, tools, considering 1st and 3rd party options…), develops all needed assets and yearly comm plans for each relevant channel, ensures best-in-class UX experience, supports the e-commerce manager to boost the brand’s e-commerce performance, measures success via web analytics and performance marketing tools and dashboards
- PR & Influence: designs PR & Influencer strategy, develops global guidelines, delivers annual plans, ensures quality of execution locally
- Trademarks & IP: manages all trademarks and rights, leads in case of rights infringement issues
- Localization: ensure consistent execution of brand comms worldwide and respect of IP rights via implementing an efficient, centralized localization process for comms, using Essilor Luxottica platforms and processes (Hogarth, HUB, DAM …)
- Budget: responsible for global ATL/BTL budget related to comm activities (working and non-working media)
- ROI: measures ROI of all activities to further improve brand support model and efficiency of investments
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least 5 years experience in Brand Communications and/or Brand Management is required
- Experience working on global brands is required
- Consumer brands experience is required – B2B experience a plus, medical/pharmaceutical background not necessary
- Track record in developing global innovative, equity step-changing, omni-channel campaigns
- Brings strong experience in brand communications: from defining brand expressions to producing and executing via global omni-channel campaigns
- Brings strong experience of the full marketing mix and all communication channels including digital – strong affinity to e-commerce and understanding of how to influence conversion
- Understanding of the full purchase funnel and media mix
- Brings strong experience in media strategies and media plans, analysing and optimizing ROIs
- High affinity to data particularly market research (quant & qual) / media data sets / web analytics and performance marketing data sets
- Familiar with managing global ATL/BTL budgets and optimizing ROIs
