We are looking for
two experienced Maintenance Planners to join our team based in
Strasbourg (France) . In this role you will report to the Northern Continent Maintenance Manager and take the primary coordinating to ensure that the planning and execution of all scheduled and unplanned (emergency) plant shutdowns are executed safely, efficiently, within budget and on schedule and help to ensure that the day-to-day maintenance of the facility is completed according to the appropriate Air Products systems and procedures.
Your responsibilities As our Maintenance Planner your responsibilities will be:
Safety - Help ensure that all maintenance work is carried out according to Air Products safety procedures, ensuring KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Actively promote and drive safety excellence for contractor and AP staff, through active participation and compliance with AP’s safety procedures
Planned turnarounds - Work with the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Responsible to establish the future planned turnaround strategy, work scope, duration, and cost.
- Co-ordinate the turnaround planning activities, to ensure all work (maintenance and project related) is planned sufficiently in advance and in sufficient detail to ensure flawless execution.
- Identify the need for, locate and develop local and national resources (contractors, vendors, etc.) to assist with the planning and execution of planned turnaround activities.
Un-planned and day-to-day maintenance - Work with the Plant Maintenance Responsible, Facility Maintenance team, technical support groups and Plant Management, to ensure that all un-planned maintenance (such as breakdowns) is coordinated and executed appropriately to keep plant downtime to a minimum.
- Work with Maintenance team and contractors to ensure that all day-to-day maintenance is carried out in accordance with the PM system requirements
- L ead the planning and execution of refurbishment scopes, both ASU and GG
- Improved teamwork with purchasing division for contractor qualification, evaluation, and selection of call off contractors.
- Ensure we have qualified contractors to complete all PM.
- Work with the sites to train and coach in key procedures – Stores inventory, purchasing – induction training for new employees in maintenance tools.
- Trainer for key processes O2 cleanliness, crane, confined space entry.
Your profile - An engineering / technical apprenticeship, supplemented by 5 years post experience of maintenance within engineering environments such as petrochemical, oil and gas industries
- Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong experience in maintenance planning, turnaround planning and execution, preventative maintenance systems, and cost management
- Good working knowledge of rotating equipment, piping, heat exchangers, pressure systems, insulation, scaffolding, lifting and slinging techniques
- Also have some knowledge of instrumentation & control systems and electric motors
- Languages: fluency in written and spoken English and French
- Able and willing to travel approximately 30% of the time.
