Job description

You will be the driving force behind the overall audio experience and design of our games.

Youll be an essential part of our Audio Division collaborating closely with Audio Producers and our Head of Audio to bring dynamic audio designs to life.

Your role involves projectbased implementation tasks and the ongoing development and maintenance of our unique production tools middleware and APIs. Acting as a technical liaison between the Audio Division and game engineering teams youll spearhead the planning execution and delivery of cuttingedge audio technology and engine features.

**We will be producing between 812 games a year. You have the time to go deep and focus on finer details. We pride ourselves on quality and the attention to the little nuances within games sets us apart.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING

• Define technical requirements in collaboration with your Audio Division colleagues
• Ensure seamless integration of Audios technical needs into overall development processes
• Innovate creative solutions for tools processes and conventions alongside the audio team
• Lead the development of audio technology tools and features.
• Coordinate with animation technical leads to optimize audiovisual workflows
• Stay abreast of industry trends emerging technology and best practices
• Collaborate closely with the Head of Audio on R&D and prototyping
• Thrive as a key collaborator within our large multidisciplinary team

OK sound good No pun intended! Now here is how we would describe the kind of background/skills you will have:

• Youve got plenty of professional experience in audio programming or related interactive media fields. Youve been in the game having worked on at least two published titles. Well want to hear all about those projects youre most proud of during the interview your chance to shine!

• Familiarity with commercial audio middleware tools such as FMOD Wwise ADX2 etc. Youre all over it and handson experience is a big plus!

• When it comes to web application development including JavaScript Node Typescript Howler.js WebAudio API and JAVA youre not just proficient youre a pro

• You have a track record in authoring technical documentation

• Your collaboration skills are topnotch and you have a growth mindset thats ready to tackle any challenge

• Superior time and project management skills are second nature to you

• But most importantly youve got a passion for technical innovation in sound audiovisual and interactive media technologies that sets you apart from the crowd
