About the team
The function of the Kyriba BDR team is to support sales and marketing efforts to attract more inbound opportunities as well as to proactively find new business opportunities for the business.
About the role
The Business Development Representative responsibilities include identifying, qualifying and nurturing prospects; building trust, uncovering compelling events and presenting Kyriba's unique business value with the goal of developing a sales-ready opportunity. The Business Development Representative will play a pivotal role in supporting business growth for our Northern European Channel.
Key Responsibilities and Duties :
- Perform outbound calling activities combined with email (Cold Calls)
- Building rapport with contacts by offering resources and understanding where the prospect is in the buying process
- Follow-up on inquiries from marketing campaigns
- Gather key information to update the contact information in SalesForce.com
- Identify and qualify new opportunities
- Maintain forecast and reports forecast to manager
- Enhance product knowledge through regularly scheduled training sessions
- Attend field sales meetings/trainings as appropriate
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with the field sales teams they support
- Provide qualified sales-ready leads to the field sales organization to further account development/penetration efforts
- Enter pertinent prospect information into CRM. Updates and expands as interactions occur.
Education, Experience & Skills
Excellent standard of spoken and written French
Fluent in English
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical and business information to internal and external stakeholders
Effective listener to understand prospects' needs
Strong phone presence to allow for effective prospecting and selling
Focused on delivering an excellent service to our clients
Strong work ethic and self-motivated to achieve results
Ability to work under pressure
Proactive approach to work
Ability to work as part of a team and independently
Highly successful track record in inside sales or cold calling environment
Ability to handle high outbound call volume with corresponding high talk time
Must BE articulate, organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment
Ability to learn complex Treasury concepts and incorporate into daily interactions and conversations
Ability to build rapport with prospects and transition inquiries over time to the sales force
Strong phone, prospecting, sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills
Understand the customer's environment and introduces new concepts to solve the customer's problems
Effective listener to understand prospect needs
Ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders
