What You Can Expect

Our Commissioning Manager, working remotely in California, will BE responsible creating and overseeing the commissioning processes for ENGIE renewable energy projects. In our organization the commissioning process is delivered primarily by Construction Managers and Project Managers. Ultimately, the Project Manager is responsible for commissioning their project. the Commissioning Manager's role is to equip, enable, guide, support, and check compliance of commissioning activities with Engie's commissioning processes and requirements and complete the hand off to clients and the Operations and Maintenance group.

Initially, this role will require working extensive field work to become accustomed to ENGIE installation and commissioning processes. Ultimately IT will transition to an office / remote based role with an average of two trips to the field per project to ensure that projects have been completed to ENGIE and customer requirements and handed over to the client. As part of the handoff process you will BE coordinating commissioning activities with the commissioning technician, adding new users to the software platforms and ensuring that the training has been completed with clients. Currently this role does not have direct reports assigned. They will BE coordinating activities with our Commissioning Technician and O&M teams.

What You'll Bring
- You must meet the requirements to become a California state certified Journeyman Electrician or currently hold a valid state certification
- This role requires a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in PV design, installation and / or maintenance in which you have learned to install and troubleshoot Photovoltaic systems, and use browser based tools for inverters
- NABCEP Certification or the desire to achieve certification
- Experience in using MS Office products, including MS Project. This role requires the ability to translate complex technical concepts and instructions into clear effective written and verbal communications for clients, managers, and other stakeholders

- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy; explain any work outside of the typical policy
- This is a field position requiring regular travel to client site(s)
- Must BE available to travel domestically up to 30% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license/clean driving record role requires some travel by personal vehicle, company rental
- Must BE willing and able to comply with ENGIE's policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing
- Must BE willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions
- Could involve some lifting / up to 50 lbs.

Compensation

Salary Range : $96, 100 - $147, 660 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
