Our Department

In our Infrastructure department, daily work is very diverse. It is not mandatory to be present every day at the office, we usually do it at least twice a week because we enjoy improving personal skills and teamwork.
In addition, the team is really interactive and we are looking for someone who has the same spirit and also time to play table football and go to the restaurant in the office.
We are a small team but really united. We learn from each other at the office, not forgetting our communication meetings with other departments in IT.

The role

We are searching for a Linux system administrator with over 3 years' experience in production environment to join our 8-strong infra team.
Offices are located in Lyon (Part-Dieu) and Barcelona. according to profile full remote possible but we have a preference for an hybrid mode.
Current infra is 2 DC, 100% Linux, 100% core services on premises and strong will to keep it that way, migration to Kubernetes in the starting block.

Main tasks/essential responsibilities

• Evolve the infrastructure to private cloud based on a Kubernetes on-premises cluster
• Participate in the PCI-DSS audit every year, in partnership with the auditor
• Ensure the maintenance in operational conditions of the infrastructure
• Ensure 24/7 on-duty availability to meet PCI-DSS requirements and proper functioning of PayXpert Services

Education

• Associate degree in IT sector
• Training in different technologies

Technical Job Experience Required

• Advanced Level of Linux (Debian) : 3 years of experience
• Intermediate Network knowledge (TCP/IP, Firewalls, VPNs, Load Balancing)
• Intermediate Web Services knowledge (Web server, reverse proxy)
• Intermediate level of, at least, one scripting language (bash, python)
• Experience with relational databases (MariaDB, PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge or Experience with virtualization is a plus
• Knowledge or Experience with containers is a plus
• Knowledge or Experience with CI/CD is a plus
• Fluent in English
