Job description
We are currently looking for a Network Engineer to join the team within the IT department on our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France. This is a permanent, full-time position.
The position holder will be responsible for assisting in designing, installing, configuring and maintaining Network infrastructure and carrying out all network-related operations covering our campus in Fontainebleau, Singapore, Abu Dhabi and San Francisco.
Main tasks include
- Design, configure and administer networks
- Manage network operations and incidents
- Manage network security
Quantitative dimensions of the role
- Around 100 Level 2/3 support incident/problem tickets per week
- 24 x 365 support for all the network infrastructure of INSEAD required – the job holder will have on-call duties
- 5 premises (FBL/AUH/SGP/SFA/PAR) – there are around 4-10 thousand end users from across the globe
The ideal candidate should have the following profile
- Bachelor"s degree, preferably in Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent qualification
- A minimum of 5 years" experience within a technology environment
- A minimum of 2 years" experience in a globalised environment handling SD Wan technologies
- Experienced in Network design, management, and operations as well as Network Security
- Good knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, F5, and Network Monitoring
- Good knowledge of Software Defined Networks, Network Automation and Cloud computing
- Highly customer-oriented and excellent communication skills
- Fluency in English, both written and oral
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and sound work methodology
