We are currently looking for a Senior Compliance Manager with a focus on General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to join our European Compliance Department. Your role encompasses :
- You are the central contact person and advisor for the European business units in all strategic and operational matters relating to GDPR.
- You strengthen the GDPR Program by regularly analysing risks and developing measures to minimize them.
- You coordinate follow-up activities of the GDPR Program including training of employees and implementation of procedures.
- You build a good business relationship with relevant departments (e.g. HR, Sales).
- Furthermore, you are also involved in the company-wide development of the Compliance Management System in relevant legal areas including Anti-Corruption, Whistleblower and ESG.
- You report to the European Compliance Officer Your profile :
- Successfully completed degree in law or economics or a comparable course of study
- 5+ years of experience in the area of Compliance, in particular with regards to GDPR
- Sound knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory framework conditions in an international context
- Independent and solution-oriented way of working and a hands-on mentality
- Willing to design and implement processes and drive change
- Ability to recognize compliance risks and develop pragmatic solutions
- Ability to travel to our European locations
- Fluent in written and spoken business English
