Job description

OBJECTIVES
- Support the implementation of the marketing strategy of your regions, considering the brand's global guidelines and the local specificities of your markets, in order to grow the business, both in terms of sell-out and brand image.
- Being the main point of contact between your markets and the headquarter, you are an expert of your regions' own ecosystem : competitors' brands and new products, distribution channels, social media, e-commerce platforms, etc.
- Reporting to the International Operational Marketing Director, the position is based at the HQ, in Neuilly-Sur-Seine.
MISSIONS
Your missions cover 3 areas, along the product life cycle :
1/ Product Development Phase
- In collaboration with the local and the global product marketing team, you build up the 3-year launch plan of your markets and define the product portfolio of each country.
- For each new launch, you dimension the business potential of your regions, define the product mix (channel, pricing, targeting, competitors) in collaboration with the Supply, Marketing and Finance team.
- As the launch approaches, you will challenge your markets on their final ambitions, and you will monitor the project (from the supply phase, the stock and portfolio management)
- By collecting the good practices, you will enable the cross-fertilization among the regions and the HQ experts, to optimize the new product launches globally.
2/ Commercial Launch Phase
- Work in close collaboration with the content creation's team to determine the most impactful activation's strategy for your markets
- Build up the 360-marketing activation's plan with the local teams, while ensuring the global consistency, and the relevance of the local A&P allocation.
- Support the actual launch in your regions, in collaboration with the teams of the visual merchandising, the image & communication, CRM, E-commerce and training of the HQ
3/ Post-launch analysis
- Assess the quantitative and qualitative performance of the launch according to precise KPI (market shares, sell-out, ranking, consumer's ratings, social media measurement etc.) and take some corrective measures, should the target not BE met.
- Foster the cross fertilization among your regions, and with the HQ teams, to elevate everyone's skills.
SKILLS
- Leadership drive and strong inter-personal skills.
- Capability to work transversally with both international and HQ teams, including Senior Leaders.
- Very good use of Excel solid data management and analysis capabilities.
- Advanced understanding of the consumer's journeys and of the major online & offline marketing activation mechanics.
- Ability to work in a multicultural context and curiosity for foreign cultures.
- Passionate about make-up and cosmetics.
- Fluent in English. Fluent or intermediary in French
Masters degree in in Business Management or Marketing
Minimum 7 years of experience in operational marketing role within a subsidiary (ex : product manager, group manager)
Overseas experience in the cosmetic industry is a plus, as well as some knowledge of the SEPHORA retail channel
Direct MANAGEMENT
2 persons, 1 business Development Project Manager, and 1 trainee.
