To meet our challenges, we are looking for an Global Category Specialist Technical (H/F) to join our team. This position will BE in Lestrem (near Lille).

The development and rentable growth policy of Roquette Group is supported by numerous investment projects (CAPEX projects), located around the world, which can BE plants modifications, new plant building or existing plants capacity increases. These are the CAPEX projects.
Global Category Specialist CAPEX projects represents the purchasing function within one or more CAPEX project team and proposes and advises to the Global Category Manager a project sourcing policy.
Position Scope : Global
Your mission ?
Use the market analysis performed by the purchasing organization, analyses the projects needs and constraints, proposes the most adequate suppliers, and conduts global negotiations on the projects contracts (or uses and adapts the existing ones). He promotes and let applied the global category sourcing policy on the project.
Advises and provide direction to Country Buyers on suppliers, indexations, contracts, market evolutions and supports them to implement the category strategy on the local part of the project.
Work in close connection with other Functions/Departments (Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, GBUs) involved in the project, to fully integrate their needs, challenge them, support business development and optimize project budget.
Enhance key suppliers relationship and performance management to ensure full compliance with Quality and Safety regulation, Roquette standards and customer needs.
Follow and report about project's purchasing KPIs and objectives achievement
Your experience and talents will make the difference to :
Evaluate the project(s) portfolio and analyze the purchasing budget, contribute to ad hoc reporting (spends by commodities, ABC suppliers dashboard, contractual coverage, indexes and benchmarks )
Develop, implement or research ad-hoc market and risk analysis, build the project purchasing plan with engineering department
Insure guidance/advices to the project on market risks, contract structures, purchasing/sourcing process and suppliers management
Build a proper sourcing strategy on his / her projects, and conduct global sourcing / negotiations on the main projects contracts, support country buyers on local deals when required, according to the global sourcing strategy defined by the category managers.
Drive on a team mode the other buyers within the central and local organizations to address the project purchasing topics not directly linked to his / her specialty (consulting services, NPGS)
BE part of the Projects Committees he/she is involved in.
Insure respect of Quality and Safety regulation, Roquette standards and customer needs
Interact with other Functions / Departments to grant priorities implementation and maximizes the purchasing added value on the project(s)
