CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Draws conclusions from reading/reviewing medical records and then writes corresponding case notes which highlight the keypoints.
- Utilizes established guidelines and internal protocol to determine if client meets medical eligibility criteria based on review of medical records and client psychosocial history.
- Applies knowledge of aging process activities for daily living and medical conditions to written casenotes.
- Justifies medical eligibility recommendation through written narratives which summarize clients current situation limitations and needs.
- Presents casenotes and medical eligibility recommendations to Registered Nurse for approval and adjusts to professional feedback provided by Registered Nurse and/or Supervisor
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- The candidates must meet the minimum qualification of:
- a bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college or university with a major in a related field
- professional experience totaling four (4) or more years in a related field
- a combination of education and professional experience totaling four (4) or more years in a related field.
