- Management of the French regulatory team , including performance management, people development and fostering a culture of exceptional teamwork.
- Management of cross-functional projects at local & regional level, including the EU-wide management of the preparation, submission and follow-up of registrations of plant protection products.
- Active contribution to the France Leadership Team to steer and develop the local business.
- Active contribution to the EAME Regulatory Management Team to set and manage the regional regulatory agenda
Ensure compliance and sustainability of our activities
- Ensure that relevant regulatory requirements are implemented by all relevant departments , working in close relationship with the French business and marketing, and providing challenge as appropriate.
- Regulatory support to promote the sustainable use of crop protection products and participate to the stewardship & advocacy plans
- Represent ADAMA to the national authorities (ANSES, DGAL) and the national Plant Protection Product Association (Phyteis).
Contribute to business development and strategy execution
- Lead and manage the regulatory aspects of new product development and product maintenance for France.
- Regulatory intelligence (competitors, EU and local regulations): analysis and impact evaluation on the product portfolio.
- Liaise effectively with the French regulatory authorities to secure optimal business outcomes
- Keep business partners informed on regulatory developments and emerging issues which require proactive management
- Participate in annual budget, workplan and 5-year planning processes and provide input for business forecasts
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Technical degree with specialization in agriculture, biology, chemistry, or an equivalent discipline; or related experience in agricultural sciences is required.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in registration and regulatory affairs of plant protection in the French and EU market.
- Strong team worker with an ability to motivate and engage.
- Experience in regulatory leadership and people management
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and influencing
- Skills in analytical and strategic thinking
- Ability to review, concisely summarise and communicate complex scientific and regulatory information
- Excellent organisation, planning and prioritisation skills for self and team.
- Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) is required.
Agility, proactivity and dynamism are essential in a growing international company.
Additional information
- Position based at the Headquarters in Suresnes
- Travel to countries within Europe when needed.
