My biotech client is expanding and looking to hire a Scientist who is wellversed in molecular dynamics simulations docking free energy calculations and homology modeling. This person will have an understanding of protein structure and function.
Computational Protein Design Scientist

Key Responsibilities:
- Use computational modeling techniques to design and predict protein structures including homology modeling and de novo design algorithms.
- Generate interpret and communicate in silico data and communicate data with the department lead as well as with project teams.
- Collaborate with experimental researchers to validate and optimize designed proteins through in vitro and in vivo assays.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in computational protein design methodologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of design strategies.
Essential Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in computational chemistry bioinformatics structural biology medicinal chemistry or a related
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
Essential Experience:
- Familiarity with structure databases and bioinformatics tools.
- Molecular dynamics simulations docking free energy calculations and homology modeling along with an understanding of protein structure and function.
Additional notes:
This is a Scientist level role and the ideal candidate will be coming from a PhD program.
Compensation includes base salary relocation discretionary bonus exceptional benefits package.
