Job description

We are looking for :

A talented chemical process engineer with a strong foundation in process design and development, coupled with excellent communication and computational skills. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in chemical engineering and have a passion for combining technical excellence with efficient time management.

We count on you for :
- Designing and optimizing processes related to Syensqo Specialty Polymer's Radical Polymer portfolio, from laboratory and pilot scale to industrial scale-up.
- Conducting process simulations and calculations, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring all safety aspects are addressed.
- Collaborating closely with the Research and Development group and the Engineering function to develop basic designs and support detailed engineering phases.
- Providing training and troubleshooting support during new process start-ups, as well as contributing to the improvement of existing installations.
- Working in close contact with the Production Manager and staff to enhance the performance of existing installations or design new ones.

You will bring :
- A Master's degree in chemical engineering.
- Strong technical expertise in chemical unit operations such as distillation, separation, and heat exchange, as well as equipment knowledge including pumps and compressors.
- Experience in process design and development, with familiarity in quality standards like GMP and automotive standards considered advantageous.
- Self-motivation, determination, and the ability to collaborate in a global multicultural environment.
- Flexibility and mobility, as the position may involve significant intercontinental travel and opportunities for international transfers.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a process engineer.
- Proficiency in both French and English languages.

Additional Information :
- Highly flexible and mobile, as significant intercontinental travel may BE involved, with potential for international transfers.
- Experience : Minimum 3-5 years as a process engineer.
- Language : French & English.
- The position will report to the PVDF-PVDC process technology manager.
