Domestic Couple - Cannes

A returning Client of Greycoat Lumleys who is British and live in the UK or Dubai for roughly 50% of the year is seeking a Domestic couple to work at their property near Cannes.

The client is seeking candidates with extremely good references and people who are fastidious in their Housekeeping standards alongside driven hardworking mentalities. Previous experience in a Private Household is an absolute must. It is important that the candidates speak good English and have the existing right to work in France or EU passports. Due to the nature of the position, the client is not open to candidates with pets or dependents. Candidates must also drive.

The role will require a really motivated couple who can cope with 6 months of a fast-paced changing environment and 6 months where they are afforded far more downtime.

Daily requirements of the role are as follows:

• Housekeeping daily of bedrooms and public spaces
• Cooking of a family standard
• Serving of food and beverage to the table
• Receiving & welcoming guests’ deliveries
• Running and managing the food and beverage service
• Swimming pool and exterior maintenance.
• Light gardening
• Driving
• Running errands
• Light handyman work (such as hanging pictures and changing light bulbs)

The job comes with a lovely newly refurbished apartment of around 100 square metres and a separate entrance.

A French work contract with paid annual leave subject to one month’s probation is offered to successful applicants.
