Quantoom Biosciences has two facilities in Nivelles (Belgium), and Evry (France). At the headquarters in Belgium, our team is mainly focusing on the development of our RNA production platform, while our French team is focusing on the development of the end-to-end DNA production platform.

As Maintenance Lead , you will lead the Maintenance and Lab Support teams of Quantoom Biosciences. You will manage the maintenance of Facilities and Equipment, and lead the lab management activities that are key to ensure the efficient running of development teams activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilities and equipment maintenance management
- Ensure, perform and document maintenance and/or qualification activities.
- Troubleshoot and investigate technical failures and/or alarms on equipment equipment.
- Manage and coordinate the Maintenance activities in close collaboration with the Maintenance Manager.
- Setup, optimize and implement maintenance and validation plans of all equipment (laboratory and facilities) and installations.
- Carry out and manage equipment safety studies.
- Perform audits to identify the risks of malfunctions and propose technical solutions.
- Collaborate with all department to identify needs, define and implement maintenance action.
- Propose and participate to continuous improvement projects.
- Carry out systematic GEMBA and perform technical rounds to monitor and inspect equipment and facilities
- Ensure business continuity by maintaining and improving the reliability and availability of technical installations.
- Collaborate with all departments during investigations following incidents, improvement projects.
- Define and implement corrective actions linked to incidents, audits, etc.
- Draft and revise procedures.
- Periodically on duty
Quality, safety and continuous improvement
- Correct use and tracking of quality system within the field of activities (procedures/checklist/working instructions, etc.)
- Adherence to standard operating procedures in all the operational tasks executed.
- Identification and reporting of deviations from standard operating procedures and of unexpected events through initiation of related investigations.
- Support of corrective and preventive actions related to deviations and unexpected events.
- Contribution to general lab activities (housekeeping and maintenance)
- Generation of process quality documentation (procedures, work instructions, templates, etc.)
- Contribute to the implementation of all required good practices Nivelles facilities.
- Train colleagues on equipment, use, procedures, practices and share knowledge and practical/professional experience.
PROFILE
- Driven by action and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor in electromechanics/methods/mechanics or equivalent by experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in maintenance, reliability or engineering in a pharmaceutical, food or chemical environment.
- Passionate person with very good technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Quality and Customer minded, very well organized and able to prioritize.
- Demonstrated planning, and communication skills required.
- Resistance to stress and flexibility (adaptability to a changing and multi-tasked environment).
- Enthusiasm and agility to work on a variety of projects and to learn more every day.
- Capability to work in a cross-functional and multi-cultural team.
