Welcome to Guardian Childcare & Education Mentone East! Our spacious, bright and modern early learning centre in Mentone East provides a stimulating environment and leading early childhood education programs for children aged six weeks to six years of age to discover the world in a safe and secure way.
At our daycare in Mentone East, our outdoor space features native trees, herb and vegetable gardens, creek beds, water play areas, and a range of age-specific spaces where our learning programs come to life. Children get out and about on regular excursions into the local community, including Mentone Reserve, which the children fondly refer to as the ‘Duck Park", and is within walking distance from the Centre.
The community-minded team at our Mentone East child care also have a great connection with Mentone Park Primary, who invite the kindergarten children over to use their prep playground. This is a natural extension of the Centre"s two-year fundedKindergarten Programwhich is led by university-qualified Teachers who are there to support your child through the exciting transition to school.

Working closely with your Team of Teachers and Educators, you will enjoy

To be considered, you will have

• A completed Diploma in Children's Services and/or Bachelor of Education (or working towards)
• Prior experience working in a long day-care centre in a leadership role
• Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF
• Budget and financial accountability experience
• Current First Aid and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates, and current Working with Children check
