Job description

As our Senior Project Developer, based in the Chicago, IL. area. Every day you'll BE at the forefront of creating a strategic energy storage asset pipeline, ensuring IT aligns with ENGIE's objectives and enhances value for the distribution grid and our customers. You'll oversee the entire development lifecycle, from initial feasibility assessments to the onset of construction, ensuring all activities-such as site control, interconnection, permitting, and commercialization-are seamlessly executed. Additionally, you'll strategize market entries, develop key internal tools, and collaborate with ENGIE's global storage initiatives. Lastly, anticipate traveling domestically about 25% of the time to foster stakeholder relationships, conduct crucial development activities, and participate in industry events.

What you bring :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or related

A Minimum of five (5)+ years of renewables and/or energy storage project development or related experience; preference for simultaneous management of many projects across different markets

You are proficient in power markets, renewables, and energy storage, with a deep understanding of market trends

You enjoy collaborating with technical experts and presenting complex topics to diverse stakeholders

You are conscientious and detail-oriented, thriving in fast-paced environments

You enjoy leveraging analytical skills and financial principles to drive results within large organizations

You are skilled in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM tools, adept at multitasking and managing priorities

- Salary Range : $96, 100 - $147, 600 USD, annually
- Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors
- In addition to salary, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan
