Job Description

We are hiring a Business Analyst to join our project team. The Project Management Office is looking for individuals to join the PMO as a resource to be assigned as needed.

Assignment can be with any department within the state of Maine; dependent on need.

You will report directly to the project management office.

Your main tasks will include performing detailed requirements analysis documenting processes and performing some user acceptance testing.

As a key contributor to the State of Maine Workday implementation you must establish high quality standards and lead by example.

• Monitoring/Supporting/Researching Data Quality/Data Cleanup with Stakeholders
• Data Validation
• Ticket Management (JIRA)
• eliciting analyzing documenting validating and communicating business requirements
• General project documentation (i.e. meeting notes drafting proposals)
• General support through testing phases: researching issues providing guidance on defect resolution

Other Project Support tasks as identified

• 1 or more years experience with Workday HCM and/or Payroll
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficient with Excel (VLOOKUPs pivot tables concatenations etc.)
• Excellent active listening skills
• Ability to clearly articulate messages to various audiences
• Active listening skills Ability to influence others
• Flexibility and adaptability; ability to work in ambiguous situations at all levels of the organization Problem solving and root cause analysis skill
