During the 3-year post-doctoral position, the successful candidate will participate in the angular analysis of b to see transitions and in the study of the performances of the electron reconstruction in the context of the LHCb Upgrade-I. The main activities will be :
- To develop the angular analysis of the Lambda_b to Lambda e+e- decay in view of testing the universality of the lepton couplings,
- to co-supervise the work of PhD students mostly on angular analyses involving electrons
- to study, monitor and possibly mitigate the effect of pile-up and ageing on the calorimeter.
