Scope
This position reports to the Albéa Tubes Data Strategy Manager, at Product line level and covers Europe, Asia, and Americas. It is linked with an Albéa Tubes Strategic project on Data Governance.
You will be responsible of the overall coordination and animation of the different projects of the Data Roadmap, as well as direct project management for some specific projects. A great opportunity if you are data management driven.
Main activities
- Support the definition and delivery on time and quality of the yearly Data roadmap
- Manages a team of in-direct project managers focused on large and cross-functional data projects
- Works with the different projects managers to identify and evaluate fundamental issues on the project, interpret data on complex issues, make good business decisions and ensure solutions are implemented
- Identifies clear deliverables and goals for the projects that support the business, recommends area for improvement or ways to optimize projects using knowledge of program management practices
- Work and interact with Business Process Owners (BPO) and Business Data Owners (BDO) to ensure alignment between processes, data projects & data usages
- Anticipate risks, arbitrate, and proactively escalate project issues to the Data Strategy Manager & BPOs and prepare recommendations
- Animate a monthly Data Projects review and responsible of communication to all stakeholders
- Directly manage some projects of the Data Roadmap
Accountability including KPIs
- Share project"s Quality/Cost/Time Performance objectives and guarantee projects are on-time, in full, at cost, on budget, and meet requirements in line with project charter / business needs
- Accountable on the definition and management of the resources, motivation and coaching of the project team members
Experience and education
- 7 to 10 years' experience managing a team of project managers, in a manufacturing environment (packaging / fast moving consumer good industry is preferred)
- Study type: master"s degree, engineering profile
Knowledge/Technical Skills required
- Strong negotiation and project management skills
- Leadership skill to animate transversal projects and to align different functions and perspectives
- Experience in Data Management and data governance
- Capacity to animate a large transversal team
- Strong analytics skills, capacity to structure
- Ability to liaise both internally and externally across functions and communicate
- Fluent in both written and oral English
