Junior Data Scientist for GetGenAI a Californiabased venturebacked startup pioneering the automation of content review processes for highly regulated industries (remote).
GetGen AI automates content review for highly regulated industries enabling swift content creation and personalization which directly boosts revenue. Proved 150% ROI; funded by toptier VCs; founded by former heads of marketing product and AI from EY Snap and Nvidia.
Currently the CTO does all the tasks himself so he really needs some good help from someone whos willing to learn & help the startup develop. Join this talented team as a Data Scientist and play a crucial role in shaping the future of content review!
Responsibilities:
Embrace data science magic: Design and implement quality metrics run experiments analyze the results and help developing workflows for evaluation of our content review pipelines.
Master data collection and curation: Leverage advanced tools and platforms to gather preprocess and organize data from various sources tailor policies and curate content for domains relevant to our customers.
Generate highquality synthetic data: Utilize cuttingedge Large Language Models (LLMs) to create diverse and realistic datasets for training finetuning and evaluation purposes.
Collaborate with the best minds: Work handinhand with engineers researchers and product managers to translate your findings and insights into impactful content review solutions.
Stay ahead of the curve: Continuously learn explore new technologies and contribute to shaping the future of generative AI in content review.
Requirements:
Fluent English you should be able to communicate with team members freely both in written and spoken form.
12 years of experience in data science with a strong understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling.
Proficiency in Python & popular data science tools and frameworks.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Passion for innovation and the power of Generative AI to transform industries.
Initiative and proactivity passion for data science proposing innovative ideas and enhancing existing processes.
Selfreliance ability to work independently consistently completing tasks and meeting deadlines without the need for constant supervision.
Nice to have:
Foundations of machine learning and deep learning.
Practical experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
Familiarity with various NLP tasks like text classification sentiment analysis entity recognition question answering and text summarization.
Handson experience working with popular deep learning frameworks (PyTorch JAX TensorFlow) platforms (HuggingFace Replicate) and NLP libraries (NLTK SpaCy etc.).
Work hours:
Maximum intersection with California USA (PST time zone you may check the time difference via the link). So if you could overlap with the team till 1 pm PST that would be amazing.
What we offer:
Fulltime job (8 working hours per day 5/2). For this vacancy we will consider only the candidates with no other commitments like studies or plans to combine this job with another. We are looking for a full commitment and dedication.
Fully remote work. You may be located in almost any country or city just need a laptop to work from a great internet connection and an opportunity to adjust your working hours with the schedule of the team in California.
