Job description

Since 1976, Decathlon has been fulfilling its mission : "Moving People through the Wonders of Sport". Decathlon is a company with almost 105'000 team members worldwide, 2'000 shops in 70 countries, 85 products brands and 40 industrial processes.

Our Swiss project began in 2016 with the arrival of our website in the country, and accelerated with the opening of our first shop in Neuchâtel in 2017. Since then, the project has grown considerably, and we now have nearly 1'000 employees working in our 5 departments (Logistics & Supply, E-commerce, Finance/Law, HR, Communications and Retail) to serve our 30 shops (3 new stores opened in the last 6 months).

We are looking for our future Store Leader for the Basel store. Here is some information from the store :
- Opening date : 2018
- Commercial surface aera : 6300 m²
- Number of employees : 43 permanent

Main responsabilities
- Build and run your business project meeting the needs of my residents
- Provide the best experience ensuring customer delight and sustainable performance

You are fluent in German and English (100% of our country meetings take place in English)
You are a performer passionate by your projects and recognized for this in your network
You are enthusiastic find in changes an opportunity for progress by systematically finding solutions
You have a strong entrepreneur mindset, of trying, of testing, of experimenting
You are passionate about the field by working as close as possible to your customers and your teams
You also have good thinking and projection skills
You embody a good balance between kindness and demands
You will BE able to give meaning to the projects that you co-initiate alongside your store's employees
Your commercial flair and your attention to detail will BE assets to support the teams
