Job description
Position purpose
- Primary purpose of the role is to lead the delivery of the supply chain transformation projects in France across our supply chain network in Business Excellence Projects. Typical ‘Big-Rock or ‘Big-Bang"" revolutionary impact projects and/or projects of large scale or complexity evolutionary in nature in terms of value creation (network cost optimisation, customer experience, asset productivity & decarbonisation, etc) and value retention (compliance, business continuity, operation renewals or operational transitions etc), whilst working alongside project managers and technical leads in Process Engineering and Technology, etc. To act as a single point of contact for new product/service introductions to manage change
- Secondary purpose of the role is to lead a specific supply chain transformation programm workstream for Southern Europe – at this time is specified as work stream of Digital Continuous Diagnostics & Technology in Supply Chain. Programme includes the implementation of Ditil and technology infrastructure (Ops rooms & Health Checks etc) in Southern Europe region (Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal, France) in coordination with corresponding local country transformation project managers
Major/Key Accountabilities
- Support defining a Roadmap for the Southern Europe Supply Chain transformation to improve service levels, quality and costs over a rolling 4yr transformation period
- Provide the interface between Supply Chain Regional SC Lead and SE EU Playbook strategy to ensure alignment and delivery of strategic projects and to co-develop future strategies together
- Drive the reporting of the transformation to all stakeholders in a governance framework for overall Programme Management & individual Project Management. Ensure processed are designed and teams are trained in the use of these to create accurate and actionable reports
- Coordinate the transformation programme with partner functions e.g., Engineering, HR, Procurement, Asset productivity ect to align resources and activities towards a common goal. Partner functions should be actively engaged with, and help to shape the transformation. Coordinate regular reviews for the region on transformational programs/projects - set the process including inputs, attendees, outputs, rhythm
- Develop the Change Management capability of the regional Supply Chain function which equips the team with the skills and tools to lead and implement change
- Support in the development of a business case and ensure that trial & test success criteria are documented
- Customer relationship management and Supplier relationship management with landlords, subcontractors operators and equipment suppliers, with a Zero waste world mindset
- Ensure continuous improvement of operations performance considering other balanced scorecard key areas (health & safety, costs, quality, customer, sustainability, etc.) and best practice sharing/adoption
- Plant network optimization (PNO) execution through the project management, design and implementation of new sites and operations, both 1st and 3rd party plant operations and 2nd/3rd party onsite solutions (TPMs, RSCs, LSPs)
- Ensure all activities comply with current health & safety and quality standards/practices and other operating procedures
- Implement new SOP"s according SC Digital Readiness with Regional supply chain teams, to assure program delivers agreed targets. Train the different Supply chain teams according to SOP"s defined to ensure the activities are performed accordingly
- Ensure required plant infrastructure and technology is implemented in the plants according to project standards. (ops rooms and Health Checks)
- Control CD EU program implementation cost and report budget regular forecast together with Cost optimization
- Implement metrics and reports to assure regional SC can manage the CD EU Program
- Link between the Regional SC and SC Digital Readiness to assure changes and improvements are implemented at the required pace. Manage the change impact in the SC Regionally
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or Logistics/ Supply-Chain-Business Administration
- Lean/Six Sigma/Financial Analysis/ Negotiation
- Professional development/vocational qualifications in Project management and Change management
Experience
- Proven experience in leading supply chain projects and-or engineering technical projects
- Experience in plant operations and working/leading multi-functional/country teams
- 5+ years" experience within a Supply Chain role, to include experience process definition training and documentation
- Experience with IT environment and electronic components desirable
- Change management across different EU teams/cultures. Travel required up to 30%
