Digital Transformation Services (DTS) is committed to drive positive change in Amadeus by assembling, leveraging, and managing digital and transformation services to internal customers along two service areas, Business Transformation Services and Enterprise Digital Services, aiming to:
• Speed up and simplify business agility, value perception and compliance.
• Grow business value guided by the Amadeus Evolution Principles.
• Deliver end-to-end services and transformation programs to Amadeus.

DTS Solutions Architects and IBS Engineering Principal Specialists drive activities of developing a direction for managing a suit of solutions -including systems (applications and underlying IT stacks), processes and information, shared infrastructure services, and shared application services and components- in order to better match business requirements.
As such, DTS Solutions Architects act as leaders, with deep understanding of business goals, processes and enterprise architecture, to conceptualize and assemble technology solution architecture"s designs. These designs optimize the response to business needs (i.e.: cost, time to market, usability, continuity, etc.), while ensuring and improving architecture consistency.
In this role you"ll / Your main responsibilities
As a Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping and optimizing our organization's data infrastructure. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and efficient data solutions that meet business needs. This role requires a deep understanding of data management, database technologies, and a strategic mindset to align data architecture with overall business strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Modeling and Design:
• Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• Design data structures and relationships that support business requirements and enable efficient data retrieval
• Database Management:
• Select and implement appropriate database technologies based on project requirements
• Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity
• Data Governance:
• Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures
• Define data standards, naming conventions, and data quality rules
• Data Integration:
• Design and implement data integration solutions to ensure seamless flow of information across systems
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate data sources and maintain data consistency
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into effective data solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and developers
• Security and Compliance:
• Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and industry standards

Use and leverage new technology solutions, to enable the organization's future-state business capabilities, facilitating and orchestrating the delivery of targeted business outcomes.
Provide leadership, analysis and design tasks related to the development or upgrade of a solution to ensure application provides expected business value.
Provide architecture guidance and support on activities performed to maintain, improve or support applications.

About the ideal candidate

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of database management systems, data warehousing, and data modeling techniques
• Proficiency in SQL and other query languages
• Familiarity with middleware, cloud-based data platforms and big data technologies
• Understanding of agile methods and processes, and capability of supporting agile project teams
• Analytical and strategic thinking
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data management
