Safety Advisor
Temporary Contract: ASAP Start on a 2 3 month contract.
FIFO: ex Cairns other states within Australia may be considered however not accepting international applicants.
Project: We are currently seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to assist the HSE team at the Skardon River Bauxite Hills Project in Far North Queensland.
Roster type: 2/2 Roster
The Company: This opportunity is with our client Transhipment Services Australia (TSA). This temporary position will give you a unique opportunity to work with one of the primary Australian transhipment services providers.
Working with the TSA team you will contribute and share ideas with a team of experienced marine professionals and technical experts. We encourage a culture where all employees are driven to better themselves and contribute to TSA s growth ensuring they are the transhipment services provider of choice for employees and clients.
About the Role: Reporting to TSA HSEQ and Business Improvement Manager this role will see you responsible for leading and supporting TSA s health safety and environmental initiatives on site and ensuring HSE policies and targets are met at all times. The role includes overseeing the implementation and adherence to the TSA Safety Management System and safety guidelines by all employees.
This is a heavily adminbased opportunity whilst the site is not in full operation due to weather shutdown.

Be willing and able to work as part of a dynamic team Diploma in WHS or similar formal HSE training Certificate IV in training and assessment Certificate IV in Frontline Management Senior First aid C class drivers licence Rehabilitation and return to work experience desirable. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) Safety experience at a senior level Incident investigation lead auditor to a recognised standard e.g. ICAM is highly desirable. Drug and alcohol testing certificate - desirable.Job tags
